I'm Rahila Julius working as the director of the Help for The Helpless where we help and equip the needy and marginalised women in rural areas with skill training and literacy program and also food help and medical assistance to people in need. The HELP project was started with a vision and there is a story behind it and I would like to share with you my story about how I started HELP project. I grew up in the south of Pakistan where Christian people are very poor and living in difficult circumstances. I had a question with the Lord that “why our Christian people in Pakistan are poor and illiterate?” God has His plan for each one of us so, I completed my education, got married had a career as a teacher and coordinator, then I left for Australia with my husband for his PhD studies along with our children. That was the time when God called me for this ministry and started giving me more and more burden to help poor and needy Christians in Pakistan and put this in my heart that I am the answer to my question. So, I started asking in prayers that how can I do this as I don't earn and my husband (Qaiser Julius) was a student, at that time.
